While God demonstrates his compassion for us in many ways, one way he shows it is by offering us rest. But beautifully, he does not reserve rest for the days that we are satisfied with what we have accomplished. Instead, he asks us to rest to demonstrate that we are satisfied with what HE has accomplished.
