She graduated from Cameron High School in Cameron, MO and also from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She married Ronald Winter on May 23, 1980 in Springfield, Missouri and was married for 36 years. She served with Ron as missionaries to Mexico since 1987.

She enjoyed her family, singing to the Lord, and teaching children. She was a true helpmate to her husband, a wonderful mother to her children, and a Mema to ten grandbabies. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

Hershel went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was born October 3, 1943 in Blue Moon, Kentucky to Hassel and Hazel Case. He married his sweetheart, Juanita, on March 30, 1963 and was married for 52 years. They were blessed with two daughters, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Hershel was in the ministry for over 40 years. He ran the Print Shop at Bearing Precious Seed from 1980 - 1986. He and Juanita were also missionaries sent out as church planters. They started five churches in Australia over a period of 18 years and most recently started Temple Baptist Church in Polk, Ohio. Hershel is home in heaven hearing the words he worked for most of his life, "... Well done, thou good and faithful servant: ..." (Matthew 25:21).
